A common phrase that I believe most of us are familiar with. How often do we apply this to the many facets of our daily lives? Whether as individuals or an entity greater than one, wouldn't putting our thoughts into action exemplify greater integrity? Well, I certainly believe so.
So I was skimming through my morning headlines and came across an article in the Miami Herald featuring Miami's infamous Fontainebleau Resort. The hotel has been a favorite of mine from childhood to present. For decades it has encompassed the style, aura and flare of Miami. With it's recent reconstruction and elaborate renovations, the Fontainebleau reopened it's doors introducing this "new" seductive and sultry escape.
With a "play hot and sexy" marketing strategy as quoted by the Fontainebleau Resort's COO Howard Karawan, the Fontainebleau hosted a $5 million grand opening featuring Heidi Klum and a Victoria's Secret fashion show. If you know Miami, like I know Miami, that's certainly one hell of a way to have a grand opening. However, for some reason the luxury resort is going back on their multi-million dollar marketing strategy.
From super models to family vacationers, the Fontainebleau wants to tone down their sultry and sexy image. This week they're hosting Live with Regis and Kelly at the resort. Each show to feature a Mother's Day tribute. This is something certainly on the opposite end of the spectrum.
A coveted more wholesome image is back in view. Or is it? Could there be much success in the Fontainebleau's new wholesome strategies? I believe it's quite hard to say when their online presence has a completely different message. Do silhouettes of shapely women and zoomed in flashes of seductively posed body parts say bring the whole family?
Just imagine wanting to plan a trip to Miami for your family reunion so everyone could see Grandma Jo, you hear about this wonderful luxury resort perfect for the family and when you type in their website the first thing you see are naked silhouettes of a model.
Maybe it will take more than just having Regis and Kelly over. Could a new online presence be in play soon?
